How Spirit Met the Eagleby ~Trithani

WOAH!!! Over 100 faves??? Holy cow!!! *has a heart attack* /end

Wow. I got really inspired last night while watching Spirit. Yep! I still love that movie!! It's my insperation! So, This came out! 8D #The-spirit-of-Spirit is holding a contest, so I got the idea, "How did Spirit meet that eagle?"

So yeeeppers! X3 THIS IS MY ENTRY!!!

And yush, i has a story! 8D

Spirit woke up normally on that day. A day that would seem normal, but would turn out to be the start of a long-lasting friendship.
After his breakfast, Spirit wandered out like he usually did. The other foals were playing down close to the river, where the rest of the mares were grazing.
While walking up over the valley's edge, a shadow passed over his head. Startled, he whinnied. Spirit threw his head up and looked for the thing that had caused that shadow. He saw a brown eagle. Rearing up, the colt neighed at the bird. The eagle turned, curious. The eagle landed precariously on the bright little colt's back.
Spirit turned his head around and the eagle turned his to one side, studying this funny creature. Then, Spirit bucked playfully and ran. The eagle took flight and followed.

I may follow this up with a picture of them "racing" X3 I think it would be pretty cute!!
